Thank You For Being Born

Hark the herald angels sing, glory to the newborn King! Indeed, glory to the living King of Kings! I’d been told that the train bound for Chiang Mai crashed & over 100 people were injured. So the mid air diversion of my flight was to keep me away from the trains! How great is our God! I’d been busy preparing the reports for the Annual General Meeting of my diving association & had been appointed the Honorary Secretary for a third term, which means another 2 years on top of the 4 I had already served. It’s such an honour to see members unanimously voting for me & to have an endorsement for my book on that day from the president himself marks another milestone in what I’m setting out to achieve. I would like to take this opportunity to thank those who have supported me through all my endeavours, be it work or personal pursuits, I have not forgotten any of your assistance. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

And for the early presents that I’ve received, thank you! That tripod is the only thing I needed for my gear!!! And it’s in my favourite colour too! Now my camouflage is complete! I’ve got to save up for a Meade Redtail Spotting Scope now…..

Although Christmas may be a time for joy & excitement, I want to acknowledge those who will not be celebrating this year. I want to say that you are remembered & that you are in my prayers & I’ve also asked God to carry you through these times. May you have the solace you need to get by & the company of friends when your day brightens.

My colleagues gave me an early birthday celebration as most will be on leave next week. I got to celebrate with Nicole, another December babe at lunch time. I can’t believe another year has gone by, another year to thank God for & if you don’t hear from me, have a good Christmas & a happy new year!
